Case Study – Commercial Project – Andover

We partnered with Amazon Windows to supply over 600 x Smart 800 profile windows for this commerical project in Andover.  This Lloyds Bank office was being  refurbished by Mitie Technical Services who supplied architectural plans to our client.

We agreed a manufacturing delivery schedule over a 10 week period, with 2 deliveries a week, allowing Amazon to continuiously install the windows without being overwhelmed with stock.  We utilised the capacity of both factories to meet the demand along side another large supply project at the same time.

The project utilised non standard products.  Due the number of profiles required, Smarts had to extrude the profiles specifically for the project, we liased with Smarts to deliver on a Just In Time basis allowing us to keep production moving whilst giving them sufficient time to extrude and paint the profile.
