About This Project
Due to very little on site storage we agreed to delivering 3 times a week, perhaps due to the age of the building, every aperture size was different so it was not possible to get a run of 100 windows the same size through production at a time. Labelling and marking up was critical, the building was occupied at the time, so ensuring everything for each phase was delivered on time was a high priority.
Being a high rise building particular consideration had to be given to the window loadings, the cleaning and maintenance operation and how we coupled product systems. Our processing team spent a great deal of time collaborating with the Sapa Technical Designers and the contractors surveying department.
The building is exposed on all 4 corners, we had to bolster the profiles on the patio doors to take the deflection.
This was a project that threw up many challenges but one we are very proud to have delivered on.
