The Building

S2 is a Grade A office building overlooking Lewis Cubitt Park and Handyside Street, Kings Cross, London. Comprising of over 180,000 sq ft over 11 floors. This building is now fully occupied by Google.

The System Solutions We Provided

We manufactured and supplied the following:

• Inset balcony curtain walling screens using McMullen's own custom system.
• Double Height Atrium Screens  - Schuco FWS 60 Fully Steel Reinforced Curtain Wall Screens
• Labour Only

All items were individually CNC programmed, we provided a significant amount of machining work, secondary profiles and brackets fitted to the curtain walling mullions and transoms.

Due to the amount of 'secondary' work on the profiles, fitting angles and brackets to the profiles a lot of labour time was required, we ran extended evening and weekend shifts to complete the work without causing delays to our client & existing work load.  We now have extra manufacturing capacity which you can read about here...
