Project Details

This stunning new contemporary designed and constructed house required huge attention to detail to ensure the aesthetics brief for the property was fulfilled.

Our team provided a high quantity of design input to assist with the interfaces of the glazing products with particular attention focussed on how they would connect to the building to ensure consistent detailing lines and margins throughout.

We produced CAD drawings so all trades could see the builds up against the render, composite cladding, natural stone, and Aluminium pressed capping.

The project involved a number of different systems all painted to a standard RAL Colour:

The large glass expanse specified in the brief was a concern, we suggested a neutral solar glass (SKN176) was used throughout to reduce the solar gain in the property, the client chose to have under floor heating throughout, along with a HVAC air system, removing the need for trickle vents.  The combination of these elements creates a consistent temperature in the property throughout the summer and winter.

Our delivery team liaised closely with the clients project management team to ensure scheduling fitted within the building program and to minimise downtime and products not being required on site.  We worked closely with all parties involved to keep site costs to minimum.

Due to the nature of the products, large glass panels and roof lights required lifting machinery to meet the first floor and roof locations, craning directly off the back of our flat bed reduced additional resources and time.

This project is a unique structure, and one that Total Aluminium Solutions are very proud to have supplied.
