The S1 aluminium roof lantern is designed to meet your needs for maximum light, heat retention, security, and aesthetics. It incorporates innovative ideas to create a warmer, slimmer, and more secure roof lantern. Multi-chamber thermal technology helps to keep heating bills low, while the deep internal bars create a strong structure that can span up to 3.2 x 6m without tie bars. The ultra low line aesthetics provide a stylish architectural appearance, and the hardwearing powder coated aluminium inside and out enhances durability. Additionally, the S1 lantern prioritizes security to protect you and your home.

The S1 is installer friendly, unique hook brackets support the hip rafters during construction, simplifying fitting on site and speeding up installation. We’ve also designed out many common issues installers encounter and include internal rafter end caps to prevent bars marking the eaves beam during installation.

The lantern design assumes that the eaves beam is fully supported along all edges by a structural upstand capable of resisting the full vertical (as well as any lateral spread loads) applied by the lantern roof self-weight plus imposed snow /wind loads.
